The “everything on site” option

Moon Palace is enormous — three sections (Nizuc, Sunrise, and The Grand) sharing one giant property. It has a waterpark, a bowling alley, an arcade, a FlowRider, 15 restaurants, and its own golf course. You will not run out of things to do.

Three sections, three vibes

  • Nizuc — the original, most family-friendly, closest to kids facilities
  • Sunrise — renovated, slightly more grown-up, best pools
  • The Grand — newest, adults-only optional, best restaurants

All three sections share the waterpark and most amenities.

Food

Fifteen restaurants is not an exaggeration. El Manantial (Mexican), La Gondola (Italian), and Momo (Asian fusion) are consistent standouts. The 24-hour buffet in Nizuc saves you on late-arrival days.

Great for

Families with multiple age groups (grandparents, parents, teens, toddlers — everyone has something). Groups who want options without leaving the property.

What to know

  • Only 15 minutes from Cancun airport — shortest transfer in Cancun
  • Beach is narrower than Playa Mujeres, but the pools more than make up for it
  • $1,500 resort credit is standard with most bookings — ask Oksana how to use it best
  • Can feel overwhelming on arrival; we recommend booking a welcome tour
